Why did my dad go so mad over this?

Your dad probably just felt uncomfortable about a much older man (with a bad history) looking at his baby girl like that. He loves you and cares about you and doesn't want anything bad to happen to you. I don't know how you dress, and if you do dress provocatively or not, but honeslty, people who do are sorta asking for it. Obviously, a guy with a history of violence could potentially be very dangerous...they just don't want anything bad happening to you.
