In what way has the term right-wing changed from its original meaning?

Conservative has always meant same thing, people who wish for life to go back to an old way of living, that's a brilliant idea to tax the people who are successful to "help" those who aren't that way the rich will get poorer and in all likely hood so will the poor. This is Socialism, and has been proven to be a detriment on society
