What to do if i was charged with a crime i did not commit.?

I got a phone call today from a state trooper stating that I was responsible for breaking into a gas station and stealing cigarettes and bowls. Two people were supposable caught two years later (now) and happen to say i did it with them. The trooper also said they were minors at the time and i was an adult. Another statement was that there were no deals made, which i researched and one of the kids was just arrested for a lot of felonies. I was living there when this happened but was not there. It happened two or three days prior to me moving back home to Florida on unrelated issues which were proven. There is no evidence what so ever linking me to this crime , just a trooper saying two people are willing to testify. I did not do this and am very concerned because he said if i do not come up there i will be extradited. But then again he said i could wait until my semester was over in summer? I did know these kids , but i strongly feel that he is lying about having the other kid, i feel he is just trying to close a case quick and strike a deal with a habitual criminal .
