What is a difference between the scarlet letter and the village?

i am writing a compare contrast paper and i need some ideas as to how the book Scarlet Letter is different from the movie The Village....i have that in the Village they were choosing to live in the 1800's lifestyle and in Scarlet Letter the Puritans have always lived that lifestyle because they were forced to but i need 2 more points to talk about in that same topic....any ideas? =)
