What do you think of this part of my story?

I would say it was very good, I don't think there is too much detail, maybe only the tiniest bit too much it any at all, using detail and describing things the way you do help the reader to enter the story and see everything that is going on. Your story did just that, I could see the boy on the side of the road and his face very clearly. I don't relate to the characters from what I've read so far, but that's not saying much since what I read was only two paragraphs of the whole story. I would certainly read a book like that. Really good job! Keep up that story! Thanks for help on my question, I will check out that book.
