Did you make it all the way to 40 weeks in your pregnancy(s)?

I have a little concern... My mom has put together a baby shower for me which will be February 20th she told me at a banquet hall kinda place. I am due March 1st, and I am currently 35 weeks. I have concern I may pop before my shower. What do you think? And did you make it to 40 weeks? Also, it is my first baby... Not sure if that matters or not.
