Can I convert to Catholicism if I was married and divorced prior to my baptism?
I was 18 when I was married by a JP and 21 when I was divorced. I was baptized in a Protestant Christian faith when I was 26. Am I eligible to join the Catholic Church and to receive the Sacraments or does my prior marriage prevent this?
